Burton Spear commissioned a master model ship builder in New York, Frank Mastini to build a scale model of the Mary & John in 1987. A year later he had Frank Mastini build a larger scale model.
The Mary and John Clearing House photographed this model ship of the Mary and John 1630 and now offers these pictures of the Mary and John for sale so that the descendants and ancestors of the Mary and John can enjoy them as well. These color photos of the ship Mary and John 1630 are available in four inch by six inch photographs printed on photo paper.

In researching the ship and its provisions that were carried aboard for the Atlantic ocean crossing, Burton Spear commissioned Frank Mastini’s daughter, Stephanie, to draw a cross section view of the ship, looking through the hull, to display what the ship Mary and John 1630, typical of a 400 ton, 17th century ship would have looked like, loaded with its necessary cargo, livestock, stores and passengers. This unique, artist rendering is truly an interesting conversation piece, suitable for framing. The Mary & John Cross-section are available in 2 sizes. The 8” x 10” sketch is a nice size to display in a notebook inside a clear, page protector and comes with a separate 8” x 10” type written list of the provisions. Also available is a 11” x 17” cross section print.
